Billy: Director

It all began at the tender age of three for Billy. His parents bought him a Lego set, which turned out to be, quite literally, the building blocks to his future career in web design. As a kid he built masterful designs with Lego that blew his parents away. Today he’s leading a team that builds exceptional websites that blow his clients away.

Billy has extensive experience in graphic and web design, over 10 years in fact, so he has an eye for what looks brilliant. While Billy loves design, nowadays his role is at Magik is as a visionary and managing director. He is focused on superior customer service and ensures every client gets the best work on time, every time.

Chris: Business Development/Account Management

With a university education in multimedia and communications marketing, over a decade of experience in online media and a thriving off-hours career as the front man of a slammin’ band, Chris is truly a rock star in every sense of the word.

Prior to joining Magik New Media, Chris worked in advertising production and sales for television and press organisations. Thinking outside of the square and fleshing out marketing strategies that have positive outcomes for business is what gets Chris excited!

He is keen to work with businesses that are ready to rock by exploiting the massive opportunity the World Wide Web offers.

Michael: Marketing Assistant/Account Management

Combining his passion for the digital space with his degree in Marketing and Electronic Business, Michael has all the right ingredients to develop effective online strategies. He is very involved in the social media movement and has extensive experience and knowledge in the digital marketing space. Michael has been designing websites since his teenage years. He specialises in website usability. Michael is looking forward to creating business relationships with Magik’s clients to help them increase their online presence.

He is also our in-house photographer. He has been shooting portraits and modelling portfolios on his spare time in the last few years. His parents aren’t happy with the fact that he turned the house into a studio.

Paul: Project Development

The master of project management, Paul has a keen eye for quality. He’s a perfectionist by nature and this flows through to all of his work practices. Paul’s background is also in design, but he excels in project management with his exceptional skills is getting the job done. Fast. And on budget. Every time. And he’s a good bloke to be around to boot.

Paul has an extensive understanding of website construction, the latest technologies and has the right know how to seamlessly blend design and technology. He’s also savvy with PHP and MySQL website and web application development.

Oana: Designer

Our pixelsmith Oana has a unique design style that separates her from the pack. She’s passionate about all things design and this passion flows through to her work. Working in design for more than six years, Oana always delivers work on time and on budget.

Master of Photoshop and Adobe Design Suite, with an imagination to rival many of the greats, Oana has the ability to turn an uninformative brief into an exceptional website. Some call her the ‘Rumplestiltskin’ of web design. Oana does most of the design for logos, stationery and web interface design.

Federico: Designer

Say Hola! Federico is a master pixelsmith and designer who has unmatched design skills. And bear hunting skills. And he can make fire from nothing. Federico applies his skills to branding and identity and has superior attention to detail – no pixel goes unchecked.

He’s also a master of Photoshop and Adobe Design Suite. His main tasks at Magik are stationery, logo and website design. He also creates interactive design for Flash website and creates brilliant interactive presentations.

Dmitry: Flash Designer

Dmitry knows Flash like a taxi driver knows the roads. And not today’s driver that relies on GPS. More like the old fashioned driver that you’d have a yarn with and he’d get you to your destination without a glance at a map. Dmitry knows the Flash programme inside out. And can produce just about anything. Fresh Flash – made to order daily!

Dmitry is responsible for all of the Flash projects at Magik. His attention to detail makes an OCD sufferer look like a slob.
