About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth, Magik New Media is seeking a passionate Digital Marketing Assistant and Account Manager to join their team in Newstead, just north of the Brisbane CBD.

This is a dual marketing and client management role, where your primary aim will be to promote and continue to grow the Magik New Media brand and nurture client relationships. Some of your specific responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns to promote all products and services;
• Coordinate and drive the Magik New Media social media marketing strategy, using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogging, and similar tools;
• Strengthen existing client relationships, with excellent customer service and follow-up calls to create further business opportunities;
• Participate in occasional Brisbane networking events to further promote the brand;
• Assist with delivering digital solutions for a variety of clients;
• Provide support and assistance with client accounts, both technical and consultative

The successful candidate will be close to completing a tertiary degree in Marketing, or have recently graduated. Magik New Media are looking for an enthusiastic, tech-savvy marketing  or design professional with a passion for design and new media. You’ll be commercially-minded and confident with meeting new people and working with clients to explore new business opportunities.

You will have a genuine interest and some basic knowledge of design and digital media in the areas of:

• Website Design;
• Web Hosting and Domain Name registration;
• Graphic Design;
• Online Marketing;
• Mobile Phone Apps;
• The Apple/Mac environment;

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with competitive remuneration, circa $40,000-$42,000, plus super, with the potential for exciting sales incentives as your skills and role develops.
